Android enforcement
You mark the apps.
We collect the tab.
The Vig is merciless anti-doomscrolling for Android. Marked apps, launch holds, a grainy grey overlay, and a debt ledger that does not negotiate. Run up a collection — marked apps lock you out until the debt clears. Set your terms during The Window. Live with them everywhere else.

Ledger Mechanics
The Rules of the House
The ledger is not an abstract score. Every row represents a concrete mechanism designed to break autopilot behavior.
Tab: Running
When you launch a marked app, you are on the clock. Every second you stare at it, a tab accumulates. You are borrowing time from your future self, running up a debt that must eventually be paid.
Collection: Accruing
The moment you close the app, the bill goes to collection. This is not a passive invoice; it is an active penalty balance that grows heavier the longer you spent indulging.
VIG: 50% Markup
The penalty interest. The blocker does not let you buy back your time at cost. For every minute you spent on a marked app, you owe that minute plus a 50% premium (the Vig) back to the system. You pay 1.5 minutes of lockout for every 1 minute of screen time.
Hold: 4-Min Minimum
The entry fee. Even if you want to check a marked app for a split second, you must survive a mandatory launch hold countdown first. If you enter, the clock starts with a 4-minute minimum penalty immediately billed to your tab. There are no quick check-ins.
Lockout: When Debt is Due
The enforcement phase. When collection debt is active, the app blocks you. Try to open the app and the Guillotine drops, closing it instantly and showing you how much time you still owe before you are allowed back.
Passes: Scarce
The scarce, expensive escape hatch. A pass grants a few minutes of color and access, but it is not a freebie — it is a loan that adds high interest to your collection tab.
How enforcement works
Friction on entry, accounting on exit, a lockout when debt comes due and hard stats to match.

01
Mark your targets
Hard marks and soft marks. Every launch is watched. There is no silent background exception list.
-
02
Hold before open
Launch hold forces a countdown before any marked app opens. Walk away or accept the tab.
-
03
Run the tab, pay the collection
Time spent becomes debt. When collection comes due, marked apps are blocked — not nagged, blocked — until you pay down. VIG markup applies. Penalties add grainy grey overlay and grayscale.

Maintain terms in The Window
Daily maintenance hours restore full color and editable rules. When the window closes, terms lock.
The machinery
Every control exists to increase the cost of autopilot.
